Here is her recap of Toronto's L'oreal Fashion Week Stephen Trigueros Show!
I was extremely fortunate to score a pass for the Stephen Trigueros (http://www.stephentrigueros.com/) show during L'Oreal Fashion Week.
I'm a huge fan of this line so I was excited to see what they were going to come out with this season, and I'm happy to say I was not at all disappointed. Canadian designers Tanya Stephens and Maria Jose Trigueros excel at creating clothes that flatter a woman's shape. Like their 2007 Spring collection, the designs are sensual, feminine, and extremely sexy.
The luxurious fabrics and palette of bright juicy colours combine to make a collection that is both sexy and wearable.
Many of the pieces featured interesting details such as an unexpected hood or a basket-weave trim of silk and satin; which I thought was a beautiful accent.
The whole vibe of the show was sexy confidence; showcasing the shape in body-conscious cuts and a modern take on old Hollywood glamour.
My favourite pieces of the show were the sexy, slinky jumpsuit...
...and the absolutely stunning cobalt blue top. They are right at the top of my must-have list:
Of course the collection also included some ultra-sexy swimwear:
And elegant cocktail dresses:
The final piece was this beautiful chiffon gown that just seemed to float down the runway.
The fab ladies of Stephen Trigueros:
